Environmental Waste International Appoints Officers
August 24, 2017

AJAX, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 24, 2017) - Environmental Waste International Inc. ("EWS") (TSX VENTURE:EWS) (the "Company"), a company specializing in eco-friendly systems with proven patented technology for the breakdown of organic materials, today announced the appointment of Bob MacBean (CPA, CMA, MBA, BASc., P.Eng.) as interim Chief Financial Officer subject to TSXV approval, in addition to his role as CEO. Karen Rutenberg (CPA, CA), who has worked with EWS for over four years, will step down as CFO effective August 24th. She will resume her previous role of providing consulting services to the Company. Ms. Rutenberg has over 20 years of experience with public companies, and a broad range of knowledge in financial management, accounting and TSXV compliance. She will continue to take a lead role in the interim and year end public company filings as well as audit and taxation matters. EWS has engaged DSA Corporate Services Inc. to manage all of its regulatory and corporate filings, minute books, and act as Corporate Secretary.

The Board has asked Bob MacBean to continue to direct the majority of his efforts to business development and operations.
